At Calvary Chapel Lynchburg we have divided ministry opportunities into three categories. They are:

Clean Team

Routine cleaning of the church.
Availability to clean for special events and special cleaning projects.

Green Team

Opportunities to Serve:
There are landscaping and gardening projects during the year. The projects include planting, caring for flowerbeds, and planters, construction of planters and retaining walls.

Women Helping Women

Opportunities to Serve:
Meals are provided on an as-needed basis for new moms, the elderly, or the sick. This is an occasional ministry. You may be called on several times a year.

Hospitality Ministry

Opportunities to Serve:
We have many opportunities to serve whether it be occasionally or weekly. There is something for everyone. You can help prepare for large events, communion preparation, weekly coffee table, preparing food at home, men's and women's breakfast, hospitality greeting on Sundays, and numerous other events throughtout the year.

Opportunities to Serve:
Take part in organizing, writing, and publishing Calvary newsletters.
Participate with set up, maintenance of sound equipment, and monitoring the sound equipment during services.
Set up, maintenance of projection equipment, PowerPoint slides, and operation of projection equipment during services.

Women's Fellowship

Assist with planning, set up, serving and clean up for routine meetings and special events.

Men's Fellowship

Assist with planning, set up, serving and clean up for routine and special events.
Participate in service based outreach ministries. We currently help distribute a Saturday lunch at The Daily Bread in downtown Lynchburg.

Nursing Home Ministry

You can become involved in this ministry by visiting, reading, praying and caring for individuals in the nursing homes in which we serve.

Children's Ministry & CKC -Calvary Kids Club

Opportunities to Serve:
Helpers / aides are needed to assist teachers before and during service.
Artistic individuals needed for maintenance of bulletin boards.
Help is needed for special events such as VBS and Harvest Festival, crafts, music, decorating.
CKC worship leader on Wednesday nights.
Individuals willing to be counselors and aid in outside events such as camping, Crazy Olympics, and other activities for the kids.

Home Fellowship Groups

Opportunities to Serve:
New groups are starting regularly. You can serve by becoming a discussion group leader, a hosting home, or a worship leader.
They meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm each week.
They meet for discussion, worship, and fellowship.
